Sandy, this is quite a nasty end to such a ... terrific chapter. Was about to write wonderful but that would probably not get it right. This is such a fascinating story. With each and every fragment that Jack is able to remember we get a deeper insight of his painful past. I really hope he can find his way out or at least grab the hands that are so willing to lead him out of it. Thank you for the update, can’t wait for more.
