Pulling it off really comes down to what Character you want to play. :) Im doing Chii from Chobits and Miyuki from Lucky star (me and my friends are doing a group routine on stage).

As long as you feel comfortable, and having a good costume helps, cosplay is for everyone :D ebay has some awesome costumes :D
