Yes, Jack is definitely being an arse. Sadly, Ianto did go through a hard time but it's not all Jack's fault, but as far as we are into the story I can understand that it may seem like Jack is the bad guy in all this. I am glad that it is evoking such a reaction though. And it's great to hear thay ou are loving it in any case.
