I'm glad you're so excited about a new fic, doubly glad in fact because it's mine. :o)
I actually wanted to try and turn their characters around and make Ennis the stronger more confident one and see how things went. Jack's time away has made him unsure of himself. There's a bit of long road ahead but these are two strong men.
