Now I understand Jack's true relationship with Rufus. And his family are like Jack's own family. I just wish he could get those feelings back for Ennis. One has only so much patience even with the one they love before they give up.
This chapter was a wonderful eye opener for me. I find that I like Rufus and his family a lot too. I hope Jack has the courage to introduce Ennis to them all once Rufus is out.
