Hey Sandy, Great update. You gave the background on why Jack is drawn to Rufus and his family. Rufus was someone in prison Jack could turn to and who understood him and Ellen and the kids let Jack experience family life he never had. Poor Jack is so confused and filled with guilt that he cant find a 'home' with Ennis eventhought Ennis has been doing everything he can to help him. This line "Jack knew he needed to find a way to open up to Ennis, or he might lose him for good" shows Jack realises the problem but can he open up to Ennis. Interesting build-up Sandy, cant wait to read more. Thanks for a wonderful story. Jess
