Oh my. Jack doesn't simply need "more time" to adjust and I'm afraid his issues are a lot more complicated than Ennis and Rufus can handle - he needs professional help. But if he can't admit what happened to him, it doesn't seem likely he'll be accepting of the idea of seeing some type of counselor. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I do know it has to begin with Jack, because no one can do this for him. :( Heartbreaking to read, but it fits the situation and you're doing a fine job with some tough stuff.
