Hi Everyone
Just wanted to let everyoe know that the next chapter should be up soon. A few things have got in the way like real life. Work has been kicking my ass and just yesterday I busted my ankle yesterday playing netball.
Tell ya what it HURTS. I had to hop around for a whole day before I got crutches. Tomorrow I get an xray and see if I actually broke anything. Guess I won't be playing netball for at least a few weeks anyway. And I was having so much fun.
Sometimes life sux!
Now back to watching Lords of Dogtown.
Hugs

on 2008-06-22 01:09 pm (UTC)I really hope that your injury is not serious as mine was and that you didn't broke anything. And even if you did, they say it's a lot better to break a bone than sprain it like I did. Just rest and keep your leg levitated on a chair while you're sitting, and don't walk on it, even if you think you can. Resting is the most important thing to do now. I'm talking from experience. Keep it cold too. And please, keep us updated about it, ok? I could chip in with a couple of advices from personal experience of the past months.~

on 2008-06-22 10:28 pm (UTC)Thanks so much for your support. It really does suck. This is my first REAL sport injury and now I'm not going to be able to play for a while and we were only 6 weeks into the season.
It looks as if it is torn ligaments and not broken. Some of the swelling has gone down but I still can't put any pressure on it. At least I can move it though.
I will make sure I keep it rested and elevated with periodical icing. I really want to get back to the game so I will be doing everything to get it better. I ned to play in the finals.
Hugs
Sandy
