~The first part of the chapter was really hard to read, Jack drinking from the time Ennis left, wanting to take the pain away that way... poor Jack. :-( Since you didn't mention Ennis there, I am sure that he's wrecked too.

This chapter, the memories, were really sweet. :-) I can understand why Jack didn't trust Ennis when he said "I love you" at first, but it's good that he did later. Two of them are really meant to be.

Now, I'm off to read the third part of this chapter.~
